Aplum AI Individual Customer Use and Risk Notice
Effective date: July 25, 2026
Version: 2026-07-25-individual-use-risk-v1
This notice applies only when an adult United States resident creates an Aplum AI account for personal use as an Individual Customer. It is part of the Aplum AI Terms and Conditions presented with it. The Terms control if this summary conflicts with them.
By separately accepting this notice, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Aplum is an evaluation tool, not professional advice. It is not a medical, legal, financial, tax, accounting, employment, credit, housing, insurance, security, safety, engineering-certification, emergency, or compliance service.
- AI results require independent human review. Outputs, scores, reports, comparisons, and recommendations can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unstable, outdated, nonexclusive, or subject to third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing them and for every decision, statement, publication, or action based on them.
- Do not use Aplum as the sole or primary basis for a material decision. Do not use it for a regulated or high-impact decision about any person, including a decision concerning health, employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, legal rights, eligibility, or access to an essential service.
- Restricted data stays out. Do not submit identifiable health or wellness information, children's data, government identifiers, payment-card or bank data, passwords, private keys, biometrics, student records, nonpublic consumer-credit information, or other data prohibited by the Terms and Privacy Policy. Technical acceptance does not make a submission permitted.
- Third-party AI services are separate. You choose and configure provider credentials. Provider terms, privacy practices, limits, retention, availability, and usage charges are separate from Aplum's subscription, and Aplum does not control provider outputs or charges.
- The account is personal and nontransferable. Do not share credentials, resell access, operate the account for a business or organization, or submit another person's information without the necessary rights and permissions.
- The Terms allocate risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Terms include conspicuous warranty disclaimers, exclusions of damages, an aggregate liability cap, a release protecting specified Aplum AI parties, limited individual-customer indemnity obligations, Mississippi governing-law and forum provisions, and individual-action and jury-trial waivers.
Nothing in this notice waives a right or remedy that applicable consumer law does not allow the parties to waive. Do not create or use an Individual Customer account unless you understand and accept these limits.
